Report Developer

Department: DELTA DENTAL EXECUTIVE
Location: , MA

We are seeking a talented and results-driven Snowflake / Sigma Developer to join our growing Data & Reporting team. In this role, you will design and deliver high-impact Sigma dashboards and scalable data models using Snowflake, Sigma and Power BI. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creation of Reports and Dashboards in Sigma.
  • Ability to reverse engineer existing reports with limited documentation.
  • Work with business contacts to understand and build new and existing reporting.
  • Help to improve DSM’s warehouse by updating existing coding and creation of new tables and views for use in reporting and dashboards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

3+ years of hands-on experience developing BI solutions with Sigma, Power BI and Snowflake.

Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling principles.

Experience with Fivetran, Azure and modern data stack tools.

Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and system integration.

Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business insights.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A passion for data visualization/reporting and a continuous learning mindset toward BI technologies and trends.

Preferred:

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, AWS).

Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to operate personal computer and related technologies.
  • Incumbent works primarily in a remote environment or a private or shared office environment.

The target hiring range for this role is $76,500 - $103,500 (Annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
